If you have been following me for a while, you may have noticed that I am not as active as I was in the past. Part of this is because I've struggled to grow in the "box of expectations." I've been trying to figure out what is next…what makes me happy while being "X" person. I am letting that go, letting God lead me so I can fully embrace my journey.
Last night, I found myself reflecting on my last nine (OMG) years at Amazon. While I have accomplished a lot in my various roles, from vendor management to product management, I am most proud of the work that I have been able to do for my community through the Black Employee Network (BEN). Showing up for my community is that the heart of who I am.
Before we can say goodbye, we have to take a moment to appreciate our past experiences. There were plenty of ups and downs in 2021. All experiences help prepare us for what is ahead. This year, I will continue to seek joy in all things, and in that spirit, I am sharing 10 moments that outweighed the ugly in 2021!
